Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lent their support to Kate Middleton following the news that she has been diagnosed with cancer.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said they hoped Kate and her family were able to heal "privately". "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace," Harry and Meghan, said in a statement.
Kate underwent major abdominal surgery in January at The London Clinic and, at the time, it was believed her condition was non-cancerous.
However, tests after the operation revealed "cancer had been present" and the Princess of Wales will now undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy.
