Recycling and food waste uplifts have been stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.From Monday (yesterday) West Dunbartonshire Council is now only collecting general waste – grey, green and black bins only – which will be collected weekly rather than fortnightly.All residents should present their household bin each week on the usual collection day.In a statement, the council said: “We know many residents have experienced disruption to bin collections this week and we’re really sorry about this.“Our resources have been impacted by Covid-19 and the measures put in place to prevent the spread of the virus.“We have been trying to continue to maintain brown, grey and blue collections as normal but this has been really difficult.“There will be no
