PHILADELPHIA - Students from a Philadelphia Catholic school are heading to a new location to learn after a fire tore through and damaged the original building. The students who attend Our Lady of Consolation Parish School in Chestnut Hill will now take classes on the campus of Chestnut Hill College. The three-alarm fire initially broke out on March 21, when 39 students were inside for an after-school program and had to be evacuated from the building. A day after a 3-alarm fire torched a Philadelphia catholic school, students who have been forced to learn virtually visited the charred remains of their school.A spokesperson for the Philadelphia Fire Department said the building sustained heavy damage to the entire second floor and roof. The cause of the fire was later identified as an electrical wiring issue, according to the Fire Marshal's Office. Officials have identified the source of a fire at damaged the Our Mother of Consolation Parish School in Philadelphia.

HUNTING PARK - Philadelphia fire crews battled a three-alarm fire that broke out in a junkyard on Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say the fire erupted on the 500 block of West Annsbury Street in the city's Hunting Park section. SKYFOX flew over the fire, which sent plumes of smoke into the air of nearby streets. According to the Philadelphia Fire Department, drivers were asked to avoid the area of 5th and Hutchinson Streets.MORE LOCAL HEADLINESThe fire was raised to two and then three alarms, requiring additional crews to respond. There was so much smoke, officials said, smoke alarms went off inside nearby homes.A fire broke out at a Hunting Park junkyard, quickly escalating to three-alarms, with 120 firefighters reporting to fight the blaze.In an update late Wednesday afternoon, fire officials announced one civilian injury, due to smoke inhalation. CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A criminal investigation is underway after police say a woman was found dead outside a Dunkin' in Cheltenham Township Tuesday morning.SkyFOX was live over the scene as a heavy police presence gathered around a taped-off drive-thru.The shooting happened outside the Dunkin' on Cheltenham Avenue in the Melrose Shopping Center.According to authorities with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office and the Cheltenham Township Police Department, the woman was identified as Rachel King, 35 of Elkins Park. Officials say officers were dispatched to the Melrose Shopping Center for a report of a shooting around 7:39 a.m., and arriving officers discovered King in the driver's seat of a black Ford Edge, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Police say King's car came to a rest in the drive-thru lane. According to investigators, King was traveling west on Cheltenham Avenue when she turned into the shopping center and pulled into the Dunkin' drive-thru lane. Shortly after, a light-colored sedan, believed to possibly be a Ford or Mercury, was seen driving behind King's car and parked a short distance away from the drive-thru lane. A man got out of the vehicle, walked up to King's car and fired numerous shots through the driver's side window as King's 11-year-old son sat in the backseat, officials say. The child was not injured, per police. Authorities say the shooter fled the scene driving east on Cheltenham Avenue. "This appears to be a targeted murder of a mother," Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R.

PHILADELPHIA - Prosecutors in Philadelphia have charged a man who they say chased down and fatally shot a driver during an apparent road rage confrontation on a one-way street. The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office charged 22-year-old Derek Escribano for the deadly encounter that unfolded Monday morning on the 2000 block of Mercy Street. Video from a nearby residence captured two cars speeding down the one-way street in the wrong direction and abruptly stop in the middle of the block due to a double-parked car.Prosecutors say Escribano and the victim, later identified as 42-year-old Darren Whitfield, are seen exiting their cars. Whitfield is accused of chasing Escribano for six seconds before gunshots are heard.A man is dead, and a person is in custody after police say a deadly midday shooting that erupted on a South Philadelphia street may have been sparked by road rage.It's alleged that Escbribano, who prosecutors say is permitted to carry a concealed firearm, continued shooting Whitfield after he had fallen to the ground.
