The generations are uniting at the Royal Exchange to put on a special show that will be streamed on the theatre's website. Connect Fest will take place over five days with a new episode being released daily from Monday, May 11.

It's described as a theatre show, mixed with a music festival and a soap opera.... The theatre’s resident Young Company and Elders Company were about to head into rehearsals for their annual inter-generational show when the government announced its lockdown measures.

It was quickly decided that the ‘show would go on’ and that the company would find a new structure for their story and new ways to rehearse together.
