SANDRA Bullock has broken down in tears as she thanked a nurse who has been working on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.

April Buencamimo is a nurse manager in a COVID-19 unit at a Los Angeles hospital which was gifted 6000 N95 masks by the Oscar-winning actress last month.

April was unable to meet the star at the time and so the hosts of Facebook Watch's Red Table Talk - Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris - bought the pair together over Zoom for their special episode honoring the mothers working amid the global crisis.
