Schools will look very different when they reopen -with the start of June the earliest this can happen, educators say. Although medics believe kids are largely unaffected by Covid-19, the effects can be devastating for teachers and school staff - as well as parents dropping their children off.

However closing schools and banning people from going out has had a huge impact on the economy - as it means many parents are unable to work.

The government says no decisions have been made on when schools can reopen - but it looks unlikely to happen before the end of May, at the earliest, the Daily Mirror reports.
