A Scots mum is urging people to celebrate World Down's Syndrome awareness day amidst the coronavirus crisis. Stacey Corrigan, whose six-year-old son Daniel Murray has the condition, is asking people to don their odd socks and still celebrate, despite the growing Covid-19 pandemic.

Downs Syndrome Awareness Day is on March 21 every year, but with the global coronavirus pandemic most of the official events planned to mark the day had to be cancelled.

But Paisley mum Stacey, 34, who, along with partner Colin Murray, 34, is in isolation for 12 weeks due to Daniel being vulnerable to the virus, says people can still do their bit at home.
