The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit has issued a provincial order enabling fines of up to $5,000 daily to be issued to anyone who fails to self-isolate during the coronavirus pandemic.
On Tuesday at noon, the health unit issued a Class Section 22 order under the province’s Health and Protection and Promotion Act.
