Premier League bosses are working on a seven-week long festival of football in a bid to finish the season, according to reports.
Most top flight teams still have nine games left of their season with all still to play for at both ends of the table. The coronavirus outbreak has meant that there have bene no Premier League matches played since March 9 when Leicester City thrashed Aston Villa.
And with no sign of a date for when the imposed lockdown will be lifted, there is a danger that remaining games will not be allowed to be played.
