Sicily will offer to pay half the price of holidaymakers' flights in a bid to boost tourism after the coronavirus crisis. The Italian island's regional government is also planning to foot the cost of one in three hotel nights to try and tempt foreign visitors back.
All tickets to museums and archeological sites will also be free under the new scheme, which will cost more than £43m (€50m), The Times reports.
The vouchers will be available via the island's tourism website.
