Covid-19 have now been confirmed in an outbreak at a contact tracing centre in Motherwell.The Scottish Government said the Sitel building in Maxim Park, near the Lanarkshire town, has been closed while contact tracing continues.Deputy First Minister John Swinney announced the number of people who have tested positive for the deadly virus.He said: "There is an extensive contact tracing operation under way which was commenced by NHS Lanarkshire and by the test and protect support, working very closely with North Lanarkshire Council."Swinney added: "That has resulted in the tracing of a range of contacts of individuals who have tested positive and that work will continue for some time."The staff were working for NHS England on their test and.
