Covid-19 while on Saturday there were 21 new cases - the largest daily increase since June 21. It comes after it emerged last night that six people at a call centre at the Sitel building in Maxim Park, near Motherwell have tested positive.
Around 200 people who work at the tracing centre have been informed about the outbreak. Deputy First Minister John Swinney, speaking this morning, said: “There is an extensive contact tracing operation under way which was commenced by NHS Lanarkshire and by the test and protect support, working very closely with North Lanarkshire Council.
