Spain reopens five airports as flights to tourist hotspots start up

Spain has reopened five airports in popular holiday destinations as coronavirus lockdown restrictions ease. Flights to tourist hotspots including Tenerife, Ibiza, Alicante, Seville and Menorca restarted from today.

The airports are being allowed to reopen to international traffic but strict rules remain in place which will affect who can fly.

Brits and non-EU travellers will be denied entry into Spain until at least June 15 after the government extended the ban,  reports The Mirror.

In the UK, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office still advises against all but essential travel.The Spanish government confirmed it has expanded its list announced on Thursday, which originally featured just five of the country's airports and eight ports.But
