A sports streaming company that broadcasts the Scottish Premiership has written to the English Premier League to request a deferral of payments.
DAZN show the English top-flight in Japan, Brazil, Spain and Canada and have requested that their fees due to the league be paused until there is an agreement to how and when the season will resume following the coronavirus shutdown last month.
The streaming service, founded in London in 2015, also has the rights to Scottish Premiership games in Germany and Austria. A statement from DAZN said: "We don't discuss commercial conversations but we're, of course, in the process of working closely with partners to reach reasonable solutions given the unprecedented circumstances."
