The FA have offered up Wembley Stadium and St George's Park as they look to get the 2019/20 season finished. All sporting action is currently on hold amid the growing coronavirus pandemic.
But with plenty of cash at stake, there’s a determination from clubs and broadcasters to get the campaign finished. According to The Times, the preferred option is to finish proceedings behind closed doors.
And it’s suggested The FA are willing to hand over the national stadium - and it’s Staffordshire-based training complex - as venues to potentially host several matches played on the same day. "When we know about the length of lockdown and exit mechanisms we can see which options are viable,” a source said.
