Falkirk chairman Gary Deans believes clubs will vote against plans to end the season early. The coronavirus shutdown has hit clubs financially, and calling the season as it stands would allow prize money to be dished out early to struggling clubs.
The SPFL has put forward a proposal to end the lower leagues based on the current table, with votes to be cast by Friday. A decision on the Premiership has been delayed until later in the month - but should the season reach a stage it can't be finished the resolution would also take in the top flight which would see Celtic crowned champions and Hearts relegated.
