Strictly Come Dancing bosses are hoping to keep the show running by putting celeb contestants in lockdown with their professional partner.

By doing this, the deadly coronavirus would have its chances of spreading reduced but the move would anger the other halves of the pairs.

The live studio audience would also be axed in the shake-up. Speaking to The Sun Online, a source revealed that bosses at the BBC think the new plan will be essential to save the 2020 series.
