Symptoms of new children's syndrome 'linked to coronavirus' warned of by Brit mum

A worried mum has warned parents to lookout for symptoms of a new children's syndrome, which doctors fear could be linked to coronavirus.

Mum Suzanne Mawdsley is warning parents to remain vigilant after two of her children were diagnosed with the syndrome but had different symptoms.

Suzanne, from Radcliffe in Greater Manchester, said her children have been affected in different ways. The mysterious syndrome was first announced last week as reports surfaced of children coming down with symptoms after contracting coronavirus.

Suzanne suffered coronavirus-like symptoms but has not been tested, reports Mirror Online. Experts have described it as 'a Kawasaki-like disease', a form of toxic shock syndrome which causes the body’s immune system
