A mum has warned parents to be on the lookout for symptoms of a syndrome which it is feared could be linked to Covid-19. Suzanne Mawdsley says two of her children have had it, but have been affected in different ways, and is warning parents to be vigilant for varying symptoms.
She herself has suffered coronavirus-like symptoms but not been tested. At the weekend an alert was first issued over a 'coronavirus-related condition' emerging in children.
Experts have described it as 'a Kawasaki-like disease', a form of toxic shock syndrome which causes the body’s immune system to attack its own organs.
