Talented Ayr dancer keeps people on the move with lockdown routines

A talented dancer has transformed her home into a makeshift studio during the coronavirus lockdown.Teen starlet Abby McMillan is broadcasting routines to the world from her house in Ayr.And the 14-year-old is hoping her upbeat project is helping to bring smiles to those tuning in.

The Ayr Academy pupil has created her own "Dancing Through Lockdown" page on Facebook which has already drawn more than 100 members.

New routines and videos are shared as Abby and fellow dancers try to stay active through the shutdown.The dance pupil, who attends classes with LJM Dance and Fiona Young, has been busy using her time productively.
