Stretford Extra branch on Chester Road in Trafford, Greater Manchester, was forced to close on Saturday in order to facilitate a deep clean of the store following an outbreak of the coronavirus.However, it is back open and ready for business after cleaners successfully scrubbed down the super-sized shop – with members of the public now welcome to return to the store.The workforce at the store was reduced as many had to take time off to isolate at home following an outbreak of Covid at the store.
The Manchester Evening News reports that the shop was shut on Saturday with local shoppers turned away in the morning when they arrived to conduct a weekly shop.
