Scotland is failing to meet world renowned scientific advice on testing and the treatment of care home residents.Yesterday the World Health Organization again laid out their recommendations that every person suspected of having Covid-19 should be tested.And as politicians circled around the Scottish Government over the “crisis within a crisis” in care homes, WHO laid bare its thoughts on the treatment of residents.Dr Katie Smallwood, who leads WHO’s incident management team in Europe, said: “We recommend that older age groups are treated with particular care and in terms of clinical recommendations as vulnerable groups we recommend they are hospitalised if they are detected as positive for Covid-19 or indeed if they are suspected for
