The hospital’s charity has a long list of essentials needed to support its workforce, and is appealing for businesses to help out.

Requested donations include tea, coffee, snacks, toiletries, and pyjamas for staff who may have to sleep at the hospital. The supplies will support those working in the children’s hospital, as well as the MRI, Wythenshawe Hospital and Trafford General.

A statement posted on the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity website said: “We are calling on businesses across our region to donate specific items to support the wellbeing of our committed
