Third 'Clap For Our Carers' planned tonight to pay tribute to key workers

From NHS staff to teachers, key workers have kept the country running during the coronavirus crisis. The UK has gone into lockdown to slow the spread of the virus, with people ordered to social distance and remain in their homes as much as possible.

But key workers have continued to go to work everyday to ensure that people are safe, fed and cared for during this time. For the past two weeks people have shown their appreciation by joining in a round of applause at 8pm on Thursday night.

Is Clap For Our Carers happening tonight? The Clap For Our Carers applause will take place every Thursday at 8pm for the duration of the coronavirus crisis.
