Prince William and Stephen Fry led millions of Brits in cheering on the nation's health workers during the weekly clap for carers event.
The Duke of Cambridge and his family paid tribute to NHS heroes in a hilarious skit with comedy legend Stephen Fry, which aired on BBC One's The Big Night In.
In the sketch, based on the cult series Blackadder, Fry reprised his infamous role of Lord Melchett to telephone Prince William.
The pair chatted like old chums during the 90 second clip, before a rousing finale involving William and Kate opening the door of their home with their three children to join the nation’s weekly clap.
