Three more Scots pupils test positive for coronavirus at different Lanarkshire schools

Covid-19. The new confirmed cases have been identified at St Margaret’s High School in Airdrie, Uddingston Grammar and Stepps Primary School.

All three pupils are self-isolating and there is no known links to the cases.Parents and staff at the schools have been notified and the schools will be open on Tuesday as normal.However, as a precautionary measure, all pupils and staff in Stepps Primary School Primary 1B have been categorised as contacts of a case and therefore are being asked to self-isolate for 14 days.

Other household members, including siblings at school, are not being asked to self-isolate unless they are showing symptoms of Covid-19.
