Former TOWIE star Jake Hall has sparked concern after posting a picture from a hospital bed, as well as a number of other cryptic snaps. The 30 year old reality star, who appeared on The Only Way is Essex from 2015 to 2016, took to his Instagram Stories, where he first shared a snap of his bare chest and abdomen with blue hospital stickers stuck to him.

He wrote: "What's the necklace say," apparently referring to his gold pendant which bore the word "strength". In the next photo, Jake could be seen frowning in his hospital bed, with what seemed to be a black eye.

He thanked his fans for their messages of support, writing: "All the lovely messages. "All is well. Out tomorrow morning. The nurses here and doctors are amazing people.Thank you !!" He then shared a shot of abstract drawings done on a piece of paper, one of which was labelled "spirit", the other "flesh" and the third "mind".

Over the photo, he wrote cryptically: "Learning the hard way." Following this, he shared a chapter of what appeared to be a self-help book, writing: "Your inner roommate," before posting a final snap of himself dressed in a denim jacket, jeans and a cream jumper as he took a mirror selfie, flashing a wry smile and a thumbs up. "Trying to escape now.
