Tributes are pouring in for The Goodies funny man Tim Brooke-Taylor who sadly passed away at the age of 79. The star’s agent confirmed his death in a statement earlier today by saying: ‘It is with great sadness that we announce Tim’s death early today from COVID-19.’ Tim brought joy to many over the course of his career and worked alongside the likes of John Cleese, as well as his The Goodies co-stars, Bill Oddie and Graeme Garden.
For over 40 years he was a regular panellist on the BBC Radio show I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue. The show’s host Jack Dee took to Twitter to honour his ‘delightful and brilliant’ friend.
