HYDERABAD : Two more positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in Telangana, taking the tally to 39 in the state.
The infected persons (a 57-year-old man and a woman), who are from Bhadradri-Kothagudem district, came into contact with another infected person and have no history of international travel in the last 14 days.
As a precautionary measure, the state government has begun the process of containment in residential areas of the district. The two cases came to light late in the night on Tuesday, after which a three-kilometre radius as a containment zone and a buffer zone of seven kilometres has been set up.
