UK's youngest coronavirus victim confirmed as boy, 13, with no known underlying health conditions

A 13-year-old boy has become the UK's youngest patient to die after contracting coronavirus. Ismail Mohamed Abdulwahab, from Brixton in London, died with no family around him due to the highly infectious nature of Covid-19.

His family said he had no underlying health conditions that they were aware of. The teen passed away at Kings College Hospital yesterday morning, the Mirror reports.

The Mohamed family said: "Ismail started showing symptoms and had difficulties breathing and was admitted to Kings College Hospital. "He was put on a ventilator and then put into an induced coma but sadly died yesterday morning.
