Temperatures could be higher than expected today, hitting 25C in parts of Britain as the "remarkably" warm and dry April continues.
But despite forecasters predicting "clear blue skies" for Thursday and Friday, the country will be unable to make the most of the sunny weather as the coronavirus lockdown continues.
BBC meteorologist Darren Bett said with winds light it will feel warmer and temperatures could peak at 25C in central southern areas - but "widely 19 or 20C for England and Wales".
Mr Bett said pollen levels will, however, be high again today. "It's tree pollen season, of course, and the big culprit is the oak tree - and high levels again on Friday," he said.
