US Vice President Mike Pence is 'self-isolating' away from the White House after an aide was diagnosed with the coronavirus, according to reports.
Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs tweeted Donald Trump's second in command was quarantining. Pence has repeatedly tested negative, including on Sunday, for COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus, the tweet added.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment, according to Reuters. It comes after a source close to the matter claimed earlier in the day that the Trump administration had no plans to keep the president and Pence apart.
