US President Donald Trump has shared a baffling edited video of himself giving a speech from sci-fi classic Independence Day.
The 73-year-old angered left-leaning Americans with his tweet – which was taken from an anti-liberal Twitter account. In the one and a half minute clip, President Trump’s head was superimposed on the actor Bill Pullman who played fictional President Thomas J.
Whitmore in the 1996 film. The scene showed the President delivering a rousing speech to armed forces members who were battling an alien invasion – with background actors from the film also being doctored with the heads of some of Trump’s strongest supporters.
