A street in Warrington has come under fire after neighbours were filmed participating in a 'socially distanced conga' to celebrate VE Day.
The group of residents who live on Grappenhall, in Warrington, Cheshire, could be seen dancing the conga in a long line along the street while holding a piece of rope on Friday, May 8.
They were filmed by BBC News reporter Andy Gill who was covering the VE Day celebrations in the area. He shared the footage on Twitter, writing they were 'keeping to coronavirus rules' by performing 'socially distanced conga'.
However, a number of social media users disagreed and said the street appeared to be defying governement rules of keeping two metres apart from others.
