Prime Minister Boris Johnson had a desperate request for US President Donald Trump during a phone call about the coronavirus pandemic - 'we need ventilators'.
Mr Johnson, who has tested positive for COVID-19, spoke to Mr Trump as the number of UK cases continued to rise. According to the President, the Prime Minister didn't even say 'hello', the Mirror reports.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said: "Before he even said hello he said 'we need ventilators'." "I said, 'wow that's a big statement.' Hopefully he's going to be in good shape.” The President said Mr Johnson would be 'totally great' after his positive diagnosis was revealed.
