Why you shouldn't go for a drive during coronavirus lockdown - rules explained

On March 23, Boris Johnson announced a set of strict ways the government would be working to limit the spread of coronavirus, essentially placing the UK on lockdown.

For the next few weeks, the public are asked not to leave their homes unless it's absolutely essential - such as to go to work, for food, exercise once per day, to get medical help or assist someone who is vulnerable.

We're also not meant to visit friends or family members who don't live with us and should be practicing social distancing, keeping two metres away from others when in the supermarket or out for a walk.
