Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. A man who says he ‘can talk for England’ is offering to keep people company during the coronavirus crisis. People have been told to stay at home, cancel unnecessary trips and avoid large gatherings by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
For many – particularly the elderly – this means long, lonely days for what may be months until the crisis is under control.
But Samuel Dwyer, who lives in Lincolnshire, says he will step in to keep people company in their time of need and chat with them on the phone whenever they want.
