PHILADELPHIA - Tuesday’s high reached 41, but with the winds out of the northwest, it felt like more like a day in the 20s.Clear skies are on tap for the night, which will cause temperatures to tumble.

That’s ahead of a system which is still in the Midwest, creating snow for folks in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Indiana. That system is moving this way for New Year’s, in the form of rain.FOX 29’s Jeff Robbins says Wednesday could be cloudy to start, but sunshine is expected by the afternoon.

Highs should reach into the mid 40s, but wind chills will make it feel like it’s in the mid 30s.After that, the storm system moves in bringing mainly rain, while further north there could be a bit of a wintry mix.
