A woman has hit out at people being too quick to judge others during the nationwide lockdown after finding a nasty note on her car.

Sarah Crossland had parked near a vulnerable friend's home in Morley, Leeds, to drop off some shopping when she returned to an unwanted surprise.

She found a note posted through the gap in the window on to her car seat. The anonymous note writer said they had recorded her car registration number and accused her of breaking 'the regulation lockdown'.

The government has relentlessly exhorted the public to save lives by staying at home unless they need to go out for essential shopping and take some exercise during the coronavirus pandemic, reports Leeds Live.
