A woman ended up with a large chunk of glass deep in her leg muscle after falling into a drain as she was out on a walk. Britney Morgan, 21, had been walking with her partner Kieran Waudby, 18, when her foot got caught in a grass divot and she fell down the bank.
After falling into Suttoncross Drain in Bransholme, Hull, Britney had to receive stitches as a 3cm piece of glass had been embedded deep into her leg muscle.
She ended up in the water, but she said the rush of adrenaline during the fall meant she did not feel the horrific injury when it happened.
