In a heartfelt expression via the digital platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Usher highlighted the announced closure of esteemed restaurant Green's in Didsbury - which is set to close after 33 years due to increased rent by 35%, and rising costs that have made it "impossible" to continue.

In the video, Gary Usher said: "What a sad day in restaurants. Simon Rimmer has just announced he's closing Green's after 33 f****** years.
