Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is not coming to Nintendo Switch in 2020. You might as well put that fantastical flight of fancy out of your head right now.

It's been suggested for many months that the game could prove to be something of a surprise release for Nintendo towards the end of 2020 as the companies unofficial winter release.

That in many ways does make sense, since Nintendo normally has a big first-party release at the end of every year. In 2017, it was Super Mario Odyssey, in 2018 it was Pokemon Lets Go and Super Smash Bros Ultimate and last year, it was Luigi's Mansion 3 and Pokemon Sword and Shield.
