A doctor whose bicycle wheels were stolen from outside a hospital while he was working is back on the road just hours later- after an incredible outpouring of support.

Jack Ingham discovered the theft when he was leaving Manchester Royal Infirmary on Thursday morning, after spending a busy night shift in accident and emergency.

He had left his bicycle in a staff bike store on the site, but overnight someone cut the lock and stole both wheels, leaving just the frame behind.

Jack only told his partner, parents and sisters about what had happened, before he had to go to sleep, ahead of his next shift tonight.
