The boss of an academy trust says his Greater Manchester primary schools WILL open on June 1. Oasis Community Learning has 35 primary schools across the country and six in Greater Manchester.
Founder Steve Chalke says it’s “common sense” for pupils to return to school, especially for children from lower-income families who see it as a place of “security and safety”.
