Aldi has taken its new shopping rules a step further to help those working on the frontline - including nurses, police officers and firefighters.
Supermarket bosses announced on Saturday that selected workers will now be priorisied at the door and will be able to jump the queue.
Along with other UK supermarkets, such as Morrisons and Sainsbury's, Aldi has introduced social distancing measures amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The number of shoppers allowed inside at once is being limited at stores across the country. Emergency workers who shop at Aldi will now no longer have to wait - regardless of the time or day - as long as they can show a relevant form of ID.
