Are you struggling to get a delivery slot for your food shopping during the coronavirus pandemic? The great news is that Aldi is now trialling an on-demand delivery service in partnership with Deliveroo.

Customers can cut out the queuing and the social distancing to order their favourite foods from the supermarket straight to their doors.

From today, the store will offer a delivery service from its Daleside Road store in Nottingham, before extending the trial to a further seven shops across the East Midlands in June.

Aldi shoppers will successfully be able to order more than 150 products through the Deliveroo app. These products will be picked and packed by colleagues in store for delivery via Deliveroo’s network of riders.
