Argos workers have hit out at the retailer for continuing to trade despite Government warnings for all non-essential stores to close until further notice.

Employees have accused the retailer of using its Sainsbury's arm as a loophole to keep profits moving - despite a UK lockdown.

On Monday, the Prime Minister ordered all non-essential shops to close immediately to help stop the spread of coronavirus, which has now claimed almost 500 lives in the UK.

Boris Johnson said people should limit their outdoor visits to just one a day for exercise or to pick up essential goods, such as food.
