To tackle the spread of coronavirus the Government has imposed strict limitations on movement in a countrywide lockdown. The overriding message is to stay at home as much as you can to limit the spread of Covid-19.

The Government hope this will help to flatten the curve, and suppress the peak of coronavirus cases to help ease the pressure on the NHS.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson explained: “If too many people become seriously unwell at one time, the NHS will be unable to handle it, meaning more people are likely to die.

Not just from coronavirus, but from other illnesses as well.” But the Government do understand there are some instances when people have to go out, for their health and other reasons.
