It’s business as usual at The Scottish SPCA but the animal welfare charity desperately needs donations for furry friends in its care.The charity are feeling the effects of coronavirus after it had to make the difficult decision to close all of its nine animal rescue and rehoming centres to the public to protect staff and visitors from the spread of the virus.This means rehoming has had to cease during this time.But animal inspectors are still on the ground rescuing helpless creatures and have many hungry mouths to feed.The team at the Ayrshire centre on Mainholm Road, Ayr are appealing for kitten meat, disinfectant and hand sanitiser.Ayrshire and South West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre assistant manager Lynda Hourston said:
