Some footballers may have been tearing their hair out during the COVID-19 lockdown – but a local football team have been shaving their own off.Shortlees Amateurs players braved the clippers and donned buzzcuts, netting nearly £2000 for The South Kilmarnock Community Fund in the process.Manager Colin Smith says what started as a prank by player Keir Knapp led to everyone jumping on board.He said: “Keir messaged everyone in the team group chat saying we’ve been asked to do a charity head shave and he needed everyone to get involved, so one by one we all started shaving our heads.“He sent out a confession later admitting it was a joke gone too far, but no one minded, it was good banter and we all needed it.“Everyone joined in, Cunny (James
